I know many of you have been waiting for this one. Today, we’re going to review M Stack by Animal – Universal Nutrition. We’ll go over the ingredients so you know what you’re putting in your body, and then we’ll discuss my personal effects on this.
I’ve reviewed their test, their stack, their pack, and the creatine. Now, we’re reviewing the M Stack, as many people have asked me about this one. Let’s get right into it and then discuss it a bit. The dosages on this are supposed to be for a three-week cycle with one week off. On training days, you take it 30 to 45 minutes before training, and on non-training days, they recommend taking it in between meals.
Let’s look at the ingredient profile. The ingredient profile is a mystery matrix. I don’t like it when companies do that, but this is Animal, and I think most of their formulas are mystery matrixes. So, let’s move on from that and dive into the details.
Ingredients:
- Natural Flavone Sterone Complex: 750 milligrams, including Beta-Ecdysterone.
- Turkesterone is also among the ingredients in this complex. These are considered natural muscle builders, supposed to naturally increase your anabolic effects in the gym. They are not like steroids, sarms, or pro hormones, which attach to the Androgen receptors and increase your hormones. These two ingredients are supposed to attach to your estrogen receptors and give you the anabolic effects of strength and muscle building. But, we’ll discuss how this product affects you and my opinion on it later.
- 5 Methyl 7 Methoxyisoflavone: This ingredient has one study from 1970, which showed an increase in muscle protein synthesis, anti-inflammatory properties, lowered cortisol levels, promoted fat loss, and increased metabolism. Keep in mind that there’s only one study, but some anecdotal reports over the years suggest positive effects.
- Phytosterols: These provide beta sitosterol, which may not have anabolic effects for muscle building, but it has shown to help with an enlarged prostate. Phytosterols are also known to help with cholesterol levels; however, if your cholesterol levels are already normal, it might lower your testosterone levels, so adding a test booster could be a good idea.
- Anticatabolic Amino Complex: Three grams, consisting of Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine, Taurine, and Acetyl-L-Carnitine. It is known for its energy benefits in mitochondria and works well with Taurine for synergy.
- Anabolic Andaptogen Complex: One gram, containing Ashwagandha, Kudzu and Siberian Ginseng (Eleuthrococcus). Ashwagandha helps lower cortisol levels, but it might be too much if you’re not stressed. Kudzu has protective effects on the liver and Siberian Ginseng, which is a fantastic adaptogen targeting neuropeptide Y related to chronic stress.
- Insulin Potentiating Complex: 500 milligrams, including Fenugreek, Banana Leaf Extract, and Cinnamon Bark Extract. These ingredients help with glucose levels and insulin response.
- Na-R-Alpha-Lipoic Acid: This ingredient supports energy production, reduces oxidative stress, increases antioxidant enzyme production, and offers neuroprotection.
- M Factor Complex: With Bioperine at 500 milligrams, it contains Ginger Root, Grapefruit Extract, and Black Pepper Extract. Bioperine helps with ingredient absorption, while the other ingredients aid digestion and enhance bioavailability.
- Energy Complex: Methylxanthan Complex at 500 milligrams, containing Caffeine, Kola Nut and Gurana.
So, how did M Stack by Animal perform? Well, let’s start with the positives. About a week and a half into taking this, I noticed a significant increase in strength during my workouts. It wasn’t a massive muscle gain, but more of an improvement in my ability to engage muscles during exercises. This connective strength was quite noticeable, and it continued for the duration of the cycle. Overall I felt stronger so it did deliver strength results.
Now, let’s discuss a potential negative aspect. Some people reported digestive discomfort while using this product, but personally, I didn’t experience any such issues. However, during the second to third week of use, I did have a strange sensation of like something crawling in my hair. Is was not that bad but just want to let you know. It was just a weird reaction I personally had. This sensation disappeared after stopping the product.
It’s essential to note that muscle gain with these ingredients is highly dependent on factors like diet, training intensity, and individual response. Additionally, it’s advisable to stack this product with a test booster or test-boosting ingredients to enhance its effects, as Animal’s formulas are designed to be stacked together.
